Amy was born and raised in St Catharines and is the youngest of 6 siblings. Amy started her journey in the industry at the age of 18 at The Prince of Wales Hotel in Niagara on the Lake.

Amy always knew that she wanted to help people so after years of working in group homes and senior homes in her twenties, she finally settled on Hospitality as her field. She attended Niagara College ‘Maid of the Mist’ campus and completed the Hospitality and Tourism Program there. Amy has extensive experience working in various restaurants in the region with over 25 years of management experience.

Due to Amy’s commitment to her family, she has developed her career in the Niagara region with a preference for working in family-owned businesses. This was one of the reasons that led Amy to Lake House. Amy has been married to her husband Rich for 21 years and they have a daughter, Mackenzie, who is 20 years old.

Amy’s love for interacting with guests and for developing teams continues to inspire and to motivate her.
